The MEC32 Microprocessor System

                

The MEC32 lift microprocessor system is the first to be launched by Digital Advanced Control, and we believe the first UK-based controller to incorporate a powerful 32 bit microprocessor. At the heart of the system is a powerful PIC32® utilising a MIPS® M4K® core. This microprocessor has outstanding performance  and is capable of running at up to 80 MHz, achieving 1.56 DMIPS/MHz in speed. This powerful processor allows us to perform more complicated algorithms faster and seamlessly, ensuring that the MEC32 wil serve you well now and in the future.

The system has been designed utilising the latest Technology including Ethernet conection technology,USB, 3 C.A.N Ports, Full high voltage opto-isolation compliant to IEC60747-5,all inputs and outputs opto-isolated, 6 Layer board technology,Surface mount design manufactured in house on our own pick and place machines.

The system can directly interface with the Digital Advanced Control ABS Encoder system for floor positioning and when used with the Zeihl Abegg 3BF Drive will give you a similar performance to direct to floor operation.

The system inetrface to all makes of indicators, but directly interfaces without the requirements of a seperate encoder to the Digital Advanced Range of ClearView Lift TFT Indicators and SF750 Dot Matrix Indicators.
